making your room fabtastic

Do you feel a little bit... dull in your room. Does the bed and workstation resemble a little bit of a box? Don't worry; mine did and still sort of does. But with a little ingenuity (which I don't even have much of) and some careful planning, anyone can design something attractive. Here are some crafts you may make to improve your area a little bit. You can even alter these projects to fit your own aesthetic preferences.

Craft 1

Is your space lacking in colour? Then this project will be the ideal complement to your room's neutral colours.

What you'll need:

paint

canvas

paintbrush

Simply use vibrant colours to splatter or spot paint over a canvas in irregular shapes. This may be placed on your desk or hung on your wall and gives your home a beautiful flash of colour.

Craft 2

Here is a method to be reminded of those priceless moments each and every day: If you have any Polaroid photos of a special trip or of your buddies.

What you will need:

Polaroid thin rope

cloth pins

Use cloth pins to attach the Polaroid to the thin rope, and then tape to hang it on the wall.

Craft 3

Here is another way to remember memorable moments.

Use any framed time picture you have and attach it you your pegboard you could also use it as a way to organise pretty stationery you have (not like I have any)

Craft 4

This one is D.I.Y but it takes an extra step to make a speckled nesting bowl to put your jewelry in which will make your desk/vanity much neater and seem a lot more appealing to the eye. Just use some clay and paint it to make it!
