Dear Youth Global is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit aimed to supporting foster care systems and providing a community for foster youth to rely on through our programs and volunteer network. Our events, programs, and volunteers advocate for the youth foster care community. Our volunteers, partners, and leadership are dedicated to providing for as many kids. One foster kid at a time!

Our Story
Our Story
Dear Youth Global was founded by high school student Aditi Dewangan at the age of 13. She hopes for the community to be more involved with caring for foster kids especially after the pandemic of COVID-19 when several loved ones passed away.
Starting in elementary school, Aditi has been passionate about volunteering by fundraising hundreds for homeless shelters as well as creating thousands of cards for Project Dementia.
Family and friends have been one of the most important aspects of Aditi's life and the lives of others around her. Seeing kids have to go through the entire foster care system to find a supportive family and sometimes have to go through the system several times, is heart breaking. She wants to provide foster kids with a community that is supportive and giving. She created DYG so that foster kids feel supported.
