Dear Youth Global,
A couple years ago, I was struggling with mental health problems. I wasn't sure how to cope with my mental health challenges to the point I wasn't even sure if I would survive it, but here I am today writing this with the hope it can help and you are not alone if you are/were going through something. I had to change my mindset, talk to someone I can trust, take time to heal from the things that hurt me, believe in myself, and most of all, love myself. I compiled a list of actions you can take for your own mental health that will hopefully inspire you to take a stance and change yourself for the better. Stop thinking negative things about yourself and situations. Let's start off by saying I am good enough, I am loved, I am beautiful, I am smart, and I got this!
Declare positivity when negative thoughts come up
Focus on what is important like your well being, health and happiness
Practice positive affirmation, give yourself credit and direct your thoughts
There are also some things that can improve your mindset: Exercise regularly, get plenty sleep, stay mentally active, take walks and listen music etc. Take your mindset, growth and development serious and personal.
Do it for you!
